Accessory Options for Fences
Before I actually had a fence installed on my property I thought the only real decision that had to be made was the material and size of the fence. Boy was I wrong! Once the contractor was finished with building the fence he came and asked me if I would like for him to do anything else. I know I looked at him like he was a crazy man when I asked him, like what? He went on and explained some lighting and solar options for fences that can easily be placed on the fence posts to light up some or part of the yard.
While he felt lights were something that wasn’t necessary unless I just wanted them, he was a little more insistent when it came to capping off the fence posts. I found out there were options to protect fence posts but it wasn’t really an option to protect them. Without the caps, insects and water can get into the wood and cause it to rot and split. The caps were very reasonable so I went online and found what I wanted and he came back and installed them in a couple of hours. I felt good about learning something that day.
