Before I actually had a fence installed on my property I thought the only real decision that had to be made was the material and size of the fence. Boy was I wrong! Once the contractor was finished with building the fence he came and asked me if I would like for him to do anything else. I know I looked at him like he was a crazy man when I asked him, like what? He went on and explained some lighting and solar options for fences that can easily be placed on the fence posts to light up some or part of the yard. (more…)

It may have a strange name, but the Pom Pom style of bonsai growing is quite popular. The Brush Cherry Pom Pom Style indoor bonsai tree has small groups of leaves at the end of each major branch. By shaping and trimming the bonsai, it’s possible to make these groups look like small spheres or pom poms. The Brush Cherry is a small bonsai that features evergreen leaves. New leaves start out a red color, but as they grow, they change to a dark green. During the summer months, it grows white and pink blooms that are quite puffy. (more…)
